FRAME FIXING SAFETY SCREW 8X80T FIS-SXRL FISCHER

Product Details

Applications

  • Fastening light-duty metalwork: frames, joist hangers, curtain wall fittings

  • Suitable for substrate mounting: blinds, gates, handrails, cable trays, lighting, HVAC supports

  • Also ideal where single-point load fixing in concrete is required, such as awning or railing installations

🔧 Installation Steps

  1. Drill an 8 mm hole at least 90 mm deep.

  2. Clean thoroughly (brush + blow-out) to ensure optimal grip.

  3. Insert anchor and tighten hex screw using TX30 bit (or 17 mm socket via SW10).

  4. The internal expansion sleeve secures into the substrate.

  5. Tighten until washer seats firmly—anchor is ready to carry load.

Description

The SXRL FUS is a versatile and robust frame fixing with an integrated hexagon-head safety screw (TX30, SW10) and moulded washer, specifically designed for non-structural metal constructions in concrete, masonry, and aerated concrete. Its multi-depth expansion element (usable at 50, 70, 90 mm) ensures reliable anchorage while evenly distributing loads to protect substrate integrity.

Key Features & Advantages

  • ETA-certified: Approved for multiple fixings in cracked and non-cracked concrete (≥ C12/15), masonry, and aerated concrete under ETA‑07/0121 with DoP 0329.

  • Multi-depth use: One anchor works for 50/70/90 mm embedment, enhancing on-site flexibility .

  • Even load distribution: Twin-expansion zones reduce stress on surrounding material, protecting fixtures and substrate.

  • Anti-turn ribs: Prevent plug rotation during deep-set installation.
